In this delightful collage class, you will design your own story on three wood blocks.

You will choose your color scheme and your theme, select a design that is whimsical or abstract, and use patterns and images to tell your story.

Once completed your blocks can be displayed with a stand or hung on a wall.

All materials are provided:

Wooden blocks, collage papers, acrylic medium, brushes.

**Lunch break - 12:30-1:00 (bring your brown bag lunch)

About the instructor: Catherine Cruz is a French-American artist, whose work is informed by textures and patterns created by the passing of time and the effects of the natural elements on the built environment. She has taught collage and mixed media workshops in the Bay Area and France since 2019, and this is her second year at the Sebastopol Center for the Arts. Her background is in interior design and green building certification. She works from her home studio in Sebastopol and participates in Art Trails Open Studio.
